Kovalev is man.

This fight was the hardest fight of his career too. I thought he already gave the Simakov family a fight purse a while ago, but I guess $5000 didn't mean enough to Kovalev.

Which means the Simakov family will only be getting like 20,000. Kovalev gets ****d on his purses by his handlers, I heard. While everyone is slobbing down Duva, and the great job she does for Kovalev, and the family atmosphere. Somebody is, or was taking him to the cleaners.

 

People have to realize that when he says his purse he means HIS purse. That means the fight purse after his team has taken their cut. If the purse was 800k then he was probably only able to donate like 400k of that since his team got the rest.

That's still a lot. Trainers, promoters, cutman will get their cut. I don't think any fighter has ever gave an entire purse away before.
