Definitely a no-win for Sergy, but he had to do it as the offer was made and Adonis is too scared to fight him.

Calzaghe stock is increasing with Hopkins longevity.

I'm not so sure it's no win at all. He captures two additional belts, which really forces Stevenson to stop being a ***** about the whole thing. Suspect that's his reasoning behind it. Plus, despite his age a defeat over Hopkins still reads good on the resume.

    Well...he is.

It really is lose/lose for Kovalev.

Its Hopkins that has all the upside.

If Kovalev wins it will be the best name by far on his resume and a good win but the fact is this is not even close to prime Hopkins, or even the Hopkins that beat Tarver or even the Hopkins that beat Pascal.

If this was the Hopkins of 7-8 years ago then Kovalev would be a serious underdog and he'd receive more kudos for a win but it isn't, it's an almost 50, far slower Hopkins. This is, what it is, but this is the best opponent Kovalev could possibly face at this moment.

...mainly because he is not going to smash Hopkins.
