Kovalev will not win more than 2 rounds against Ward

The biggest puncher Ward has faced is Froch. He won convincingly but Froch won 3-4 rounds. Kovalev is bigger, stronger, and better than Froch. Ward is not as agile as he was at SMW when he fought Froch. Sure call transitive property but it is what it is.


Expect this fight to be very close.

If he fights like he did against Chilemba then I would agree. If he fights like he did against Hopkins Ward will be in for a long night.

This is a evenly matched fight between two elite fighters who are still at the top of their game. I'm not hyping anything this fight doesn't need it. We've all wanted this fight for the better part of two years and it's the biggest fight in boxing. The winner of this fight is the new #1 P4P.

 

disagree pimp. i think a more agressive kovalev would do well, a kovalev who is too patient would get outsmarted by ward, and wards quicker hands in a slower paced fight is ideal for him

He had an off night against Chilemba, close rounds but he won majority. I had it 118-109. My score makes it seem more one sided than it truly is.

 

Kovalev wins round 1 and 2 and ko's ward in the 3rd.

 

It's not out of the question for either man to completely dominate and win 10 rounds.

Elite fighters (even their prime) have been dominated before. Frazier won 11 rounds against Ali. Roy Jones Jr. pretty much shutout James Toney. Tommy Hearns was ****ing just blasted by Marvin Hagler. He was put in the grave.
