Kovalev is a decent fighter, but he does not seem too nice a guy. Boxing is business. Ward just beat him up and he cannot handle it.

Well he wasn't.. And Kovalev was hurt before that. Ward got over anxious, but Ward would have landed on Kovalev soon after this and the fight would have been over. Complain all you want about that low blow, it just meant Kovalev was not going to be knocked out cleanly a minute or so later.

Kovalev whooped his ass already in the first fight and if they fight for the 3rd time Kovalev would KO that piece of ****.

I absolutely agree the first fight was close never have denied it. I can see how some scored it for kovalev just as i can see how you can score it for ward. The problem is when people claim a robbery in a close fight that the fighter they like didnt get the decision which is wrong.

I have used my example in the charlo-Harrison fight to perfectly illustrate my point. I picked charlo rooted for him and scored it for him but the judges disagreed. I didnt cry robbery make excuses and claim that charlo beat harrison is still undefeated and is 1-0 against him. It was a close fight id like to see a rematch down the road and hopefully charlo can pull out the win.

If a fight is a true robbery rjj in the olympics or pea-jcc i can understand but a close fight is not a robbery and people dont seem to understand this concept.

    Kovale
it was def could go either way and I scored it 114-113 BUT there was a round in the second half that Kovalev clearly won I think round 10 and all 3 gave it to ward.

The way I look at it is, it's not so much that's it was a robbery, because as you said it was very close, but the mere fact that all three judges had the exact same score in an at times impossibly hard match to score in the United States, reeked of bull****. Sergey and Ward were both undefeated, and Sergey was the Champ, couldn't they have at least had it a split draw? It's not like the fight didn't have several near 10/10 rounds, one draw score was entirely feasible. That's what stung the most.

As far as Harrison vs Charlo goes, yeah I get your complaints there, I had a draw, but I am thrilled they gave it Harrison, since I picked him to win.:sisi1

That is not why he was going to be knocked out by Ward soon after the fight was stopped. Making excuses for a fighter is fine, but it does not change the outcome and I don't think anyone really thinks Kovalev is better than Ward. Kovalev was hurt badly, and this latest fight was good for him. But that was Alvarez and not Ward. Kovalev is good but for people to say he is an all time great? No way. Too many weaknesses. Hall of Famer? Well that is more a resume and career accomplishments thing. But I think Virgil Hill would have stopped Kovalev in the mid rounds.

Oh for Christs sake, Kovalev vs Ward 1 was close to being a Pea-jcc like robbery, hence the overwhelming dislike for the decision just like in Pea-jcc. And dont get me started on Canelo-Golovkin, which also rivals robberies of the past due to the amount of people that thought Golovkin won.

I think job in current form DOMINATES ward with ease. And ward version, even roided.
