Roach has been unsuccessful the last several years relative to his stable and their performance in fights. He's a part time trainer who himself seems to have lost the passion. For the most part, a straight shooter. I've come to respect Roach quite a bit over the years, considering I used to hate him. But like boxers do he has totally peaked, been on the downswing, and who knows where he's at now with it. I imagine he's close to retirement, really.

    Nope.

    • We'd see Kovalev in catchweight fights
    • He'd face a good name that's either injured, old, or drained.
    • Roach would jeopardize his defense for a left hook, leaving him open to get KO'd.

John David Jackson is a very average trainer. I feel anyone would be an improvement, even Freddie.

Freddie is STILL the best trainer out there today. The fact he is still active while suffering from that terrible debilitating disease Parkinsons syndrome, speaks volumes abiut the man. Hesimited physically working with a fighter but his boxing brain is as sharp as ever
