    It's a style matchup that I don't believe Ward can win. He will be able to out maneuver Kov at times, but when those shots land (and Ward's defense isn't that great) Ward will need a new gameplan and I doubt it would be enough.

    Ward gets stopped

    Kovalev is more fluid now and
    is the best straight puncher
    in the biz. He will punch with Ward
    and hurt him and then stop him.

    No offense but people said the same **** about:

    Dawson

    Froch

    Abraham

    Kessler

    Miranda

    Ward has a great resume... I'm not counting him out of a fight with Kovalev.. though Kovalev does everything better than all those guys.. and some of them were elite fighters in Kessler and Froch.

    Dawson drained himself to make 168. Abraham is a bloated up middleweight, that found little success in 168. Froch is outboxable......
