    I've seen lots of 'aging fighters' well above 36...
    Its one thing to be older and slower and more vulnerable...
    Its quite another to employ a tap-tap-paw strategy with no commitment behind your punches.
    Especially when your entire legacy is based upon being the big bad wolf.
    Kovalev was exposed in every sense last night.
    And quit trying to blame Buddy McGirt too

    He had to apply that strategy or risk gettng iced earlier. He could feel Alvarez’ power better than both of us and knew that taking silly risks could cost him the fight. He fought smart and was actually winning. It’s just sad that he tired and Alvarez punished him brutally for it. Running out of gas is nothing new for Kovalev, so this past prime nonsense is irrelevant to the final result of this fight.
