Kovalev's chin definitely ISN'T glass

    There was a point in the Froch - Pascal fight where Froch ran after Pascal with his hands down, ate about 4 or 5 flush shots, and unleashed a flurry on Pascal in the corner

    Pascal's thing is that he comes at you with weird shots from awkward angles, and the punches you don't see are the ones that hurt u.

    I don't think he has this crazy power, it's just that his pinches are so awkward that they catch u off guard

    He hurt Froch right at the end of one of the early rounds, IIRC. I think it was either the 3rd or the 4th.

    I don't know how hard Pascal hits but he can definitely bang when he wants to. A lot of his punches are a bit wild though and his opponents can see them coming. But he can hurt you with fast sneaky ones, which he caught Kovalev with numerous times.

    This. GGG wasn't hit by Pascal Kov was don't confuse it and Pascal can crack at a much bigger weight than what GGG is being hit with.

    Was it when Froch was stuck on the ropes, and Pascal hit him after the bell?

    Pascal for sure has some power, but like I said I think it's moreso the awkwardness of the punches that gets ppl off guard. Let's not pretend like Pascal can punch like Kovalev, Stevenson, or GGG

    However what he does have is an iron chin, and for Kova to hurt him seemingly at will just goes to show what a freak he truly is

    Maybe. I haven't seen it in about 5 years.

    I'm not trying to pretend he hits like those guys but he can bang and hurt you even if you've got a good chin. Kovalev is supposedly packing glass but he took his shots well. You're right about the awkwardness but I also think he telegraphs a lot of what he throws and his opponents can prepare themselves to take the shots better than they can with the fast sneaky ones you don't see coming.

    They are comparing GGGs chin to Kovalev saying it's better but based on what being hit by guys that hit hard at MW compared to Pascal that hits hard at LHW. Eh I'm misunderstood a lot to be honest I take OxyContin all day and Dilaudid thrown in every once in awhile I may not be coherent.

    What proof do you have that Kovalev's chin is worst than GGG's? GGG is still fight bums while Kovalev has stepped up. Kovalev is better than GGG. Kovalev has a good chin but I'm not sold on his skin yet. GGG only fights against easy white fighters.

    Yeah, well Golovkin does appear to have an excellent chin but, as you say, in actual fights it's not being cracked by genuine LHWS like Kovalev's is.

    You can tell by simply looking at Kovalev's face that he doesn't have a weak chin. People with weak chins doesn't have that look. Seriously it's a thing.
