Kovalev's coach "Ward for once is going to fight guys his size at 175"

  1. Yunieski Gonzalez is too skilled and highly ranked for Ward to fight:D

Yep, Ward has been avoiding slick boxers even in his prime.

Even if that worse case scenario comes to pass, it will be three more fights than Ward is likely to have.

Really, if you want to bash him, why not find an active fighter to compare. Not a retiree.

Now if GGG lands Canelo and Lee, be a big man and apologize.

All the little G fans prey that Ward is retired  I already said even if Ward never fights again his resume takes a dump on little G's.

Even if little G somehow lands Canelo than Lee it doesn't prove anything as far a legacy goes, Canelo is a Light middleweight and Andy Lee had a draw with Quillin who most little G fans are labelling a glass jawed bum, triple quack is expected to beat both of them.
So no apologies until triple quack steps up to 168 for a real challenge.

If Ward was a natural 168lb fighter, like some claim - wouldn't he have fought at the 75kg/165lb weight class as an amateur (when he was younger, and still not fully developed) as opposed to fighting at 81kg/178lb weight class which is actually above LHW and therefore Cruiserweight in the pro-ranks?
It seems Ward has been boiling himself down to make 168, and he's naturally more of a LHW. Not the biggest LHW, no, but he's still a fairly big guy, 6'0 tall and bigger frame wise than your Froch/Kesslers etc...

And that itself says it all :) You want him to move up out of his natural weight because he is so insanely good on what he does. At the same time you feel Ward is so good that he needs to fight against 160 pounder, 12 pounds smaller guy :D :D You are hilarious!! Are you a comedian? Do you make jokes about any other fighter? Or about other sports?

No, he is not comedian. He is just a hater. If he applied the same logic to Ward, then Andrea would have to fight Drozd or Lebedev.

This is the kind of drivel that happens when fighters don't bother to fight. Look what Andre's done to you. With no decent fights to look forward to in years from him, you (and Ward himself) are left talking about those who bother to actually fight and why it's unfair that those who maintain an active schedule happen to become more popular. The real question is how does a Ward fan pass the time besides the talk?

So, what, you just pull up Boxrec and enjoy looking at the Ward page in lieu of having an actual fight to look forward to, content that the arrangement of characters will always please you more than Golovkin's?

Just play Ward fight replays every 3-4 months whenever Golovkin fights, like the 2009-2012 party never ended?

Try to prove a theorem that legacy = entertainment?

Help me out here. It's been a long 3 years.

Nothing but dribble from you little G fans attacking Ward, like I said twice now it doesn't matter if Ward never fights again his resume still takes a dump on little G's. Ward during his career challenged himself, little G never has. You are the same guys who knock Floyd saying he ducked little G, the dude moved up 5 weight divisions already to test himself, little G is almost 34 and his best win is Martin Murray  The guy has never beaten a legit world champion.

I don't see how little G fans can be satisfied with him staying in a weak division when he clearly has the tools to move up and test himself.

I would say Gatti tested himself more than 99% fighters including Ward. Gatti faced uphill almost everytime he fought. He wasn´t as talented as some fighters in his era (De la Hoya, Floyd). So should we say he was a real deal because he tested himself?

Ward was a good champion at 168 but that time has passed long time ago. He beat Froch who is good champion but I wouldn´t call him great. Then there was Abraham but if this nonsense about Murray being **** is true, Abraham is a bum. And let see who else... yeah, almost forgot Kessler. He was a very good fighter. Maybe even great, but he was fighting with one eye and he got injured by Wards head. That would have been something if indeed, Ward had won that with fair play. But he didn´t.

At the moment there are couple of very good champions and Golovkin is one of them. The time will tell how great he will be - at least he is doing what he is supposed to do - fight and dominate.

Why prey, when the reality is Ward retired from active fighting after winning the Super 6. You are the one preying and hoping that isn't true.

Well, if you just admited to having no integrity on the subject, and can't stand by your own words, what is the point?
