    Another race baiting thread posting false info. Boone drew with
    kovalev when the russia was fighting at 168 and was a novice
    and was NOT knocked down. can't say the same for black superman
    adonis stevenson though;)
    Anyway, since SK has hooked up w/ jackson and moved up to a
    more optimal weight he is a way better fighter. Racists like MVC
    are just boiled that a white fighter is having deserved success.
    Hell, if it was kovalev in the ring that night against a damaged
    chad dawson, then the russky would be linear at 175 right now.

    I still come on this forum because there are still some good posters left, and I like the insight some of the guys like IB have on young or obscure fighters, but as of late it's been flooded with white supremacists, black supremacists, and the annoying chin checkers are still around.

    Do your research. Look at the previous pages. IB linked 3 websites in regards to that fight.

    He was knocked down in the 7th round by Boone in their 1st fight. Good try. :hi:

    In the main event, highly regarded light heavyweight Sergey Kovalev (10-0, 9 KOs) was knocked down in round seven, but escaped with a narrow eight round split decision win over veteran upset specialist Darnell Boone (17-16-3, 7 KOs). Scores were 76-75, 76-75 for Kolalev, 76-75 for Boone.

    his was a great learning experience for Kovalev, who was sent to canvas for the first time in his career in round seven but stood up to win victory.

    Although Boone knocked Kovalev down twice, the judges awarded Kovalev the split decision. (One I believe did not count, was probably an off balanced shot or a trip or whatnot)

    And I'm not racist. I'm simply stating fact.

    If people are going to make fun of Ward for being knocked down by Boone, they're gonna have to do it to Kovalev/Stevenson as well.

    That's my point.

    Abos Atoev also stopped him in the amateurs. I guess this proves Kovalev should have his license revoked for his own safety.
