he does come across as a bit nuts, but its entertaining, especially when he talks about Adonis "piece of $hit" Stevenson

there is a russian interview with him when he says that he must keep up with the Krusher brand while in the ring, and to be what Krusher implies - crush his opponents

Sorry if this was addressed; I did not read the entire thread.

There was history in all those examples.

Cleverly-Him and his dad said some lousy thing about Kovalev in the pre fight lead up.

Sillakh-They had history from their amateur days

Pascal-Defamed all Russians athletes as front runners.

Nuhammedi-Trained by Abel Sanchez who neglected Kovalev when they worked together.

It is irresponsible for any of us to assign any motives to Kovalev for how he has compartmentalized the Simakov incident.

    ^^ This is all true.

I like a mean ******* in the ring. Quite refreshing from all the ***gotry I'm bored to endure in a usual fight - glove touching, hugging after the bell, smiling, holding each others hands up after a decision.

No, just running people over like dogs and sneering at them - Thank you!

    I agree.
    It's worrying.

It he carries on like this boxing will once again be a violent and exciting spectacle.

And after all the hard work Mayweather and Malignaggi have done to make it harmless exercise.

    1. If he's sadistic inside the boxing ring and keeps within the rules, it's all good.

    2. If he strays too far from the rule book, they should DQ him.

    3. IF he's a "nasty sadistic bast*rd" outside the ring, lock him up and throw away the key.

    :good

  10. He was legitimately trying to hurt Nate. He hit when he went down . He hit him even when the ref was trying to stop it. He really didn't want Cleverly to stop fighting so that he could continue hurting him. It was good.

Yeah, he comes across a little nuts and sadistic, in the Terry Norris/Roberto Duran/Ann Wolfe mode. Having a mean streak and a bit of a sadistic side is normal and perhaps necessary given the nature of the sport, but Kovalev seems a bit more so than usual.

I wish he could unleash his brand of sadism on Stevenson.
