To be fair he is sometimes off balance when he gets in exchanges, but he corrects himself quickly. Like JDJ said once ward gets hit the first time there is no coming back, he's never been hit with anything like kovalev.

 

Ward receives way more criticism than kovalev here.

 

He deserves it he is a diva who has done nothing apart from a supersix tournament which had opponents promised by contract

To me Kovalev is respected highly amongst most keyboard warriors, boxing fans and media. Kovalev is one of the best LHW that I have seen since Roy. He´s also very entertaining. IMO He is one of the P4P best at the moment and he´s not going anywhere. Haven´t seen any serious criticism here. Only those same stupid haters who have issues with Golovkin are trying to build something controversy around here.

 

He is somewhat underrated as that he doesn't get the hype that GGG gets for example and I have no idea why? He has a good resume and is very skilled. I wouldn't say he is better than Froch who IMO has a better resume and is HOF level just yet.

 

No shame in either man losing this fight. I like both guys so it's hard to pick.

 

he has attributes that are gonna make this alot tougher fight for ward than froch did. and if he does beat ward, you would say he is better than froch.
