That’s a good point. The biggest puncher he faced was Darnell Boone and by all accounts he was knocked down badly in the later rounds and nearly stopped. Ward was meant to be light hitting at SMW and had Kovalev on ***** street with a right hand. He takes a punch ok early on but once his stamina starts to deplete he’s vulnerable.

look at Alvarez's shot though. That's a put everything into a punch shot. that's not a regular straight punch. It was a very LONG punch. I think it would hurt anyone at 175 he timed Kovalev

    Zakman,

While I agree he can't take a good body shot ( Low blow ) and his chin is average, its seems like each time you say so an so is getting stopped it seldom happens.

He sees suspect chins everywhere LMAO. It's like a ghost hunting his soul. No, just kidding, he is a fraud with his chin talk. He mentioned Jake Ball and Sergey Kovalev in one sentence yesterday. I have to admit i thought Kovalev getting KOd again but not because of a suspect chin or something, i thought Alvarez is taking his power pretty well and Kovalev would gass out after 6-7 rounds again but his game plan improved and he fought smart enough to beat a guy who wasn't really going for the Knockout. Good performance. I hope this ends the suspect chin story, can't stand it anymore, same for Wilder having a glass jaw. LMAO.

Kovalev's chin isn't below his belt. He went down in the first Alvarez fight filed under "Puncher's Chance". Alvarez couldn't budge Sergey last night. Props to Alvarez's chin too.
