Id actually like to see him fed to either Joyce or Hrgovic in one of their next fights to stop this potential title fight nonsense and highlight just how good one of these two are, but fights with Chisora, Allen, Kuzmin, Jennings, Ruiz Jr would be fun to watch. Kownacki might not make it as a top contender, but he definitely has a career as an entertaining fighter.

Right, but the thing is, I don't think it's a huge money fight that either of them can't get fighting someone else, nor does either one have a title. Back in the 80's two welterweights named Simon Brown and Maurice Blocker who were best friends and grew up together in D.C. fought each other for the title, but neither of them really had other great options.

I had it 96-94 for him as well. I thought Martin wasted the early rounds trying to box and fight tall, It was a winnable fight for him. Wouldn’t mind seeing a rematch.

 

Botha was a far better fighter than either Kownacki or Martin lol.

 

He kind of outboxed Shannon Briggs in a fun 10 rounder only to be given a BS draw, he outboxed Schulz, outboxed Tyson for almost 5 rounds before being stopped, held his own with Moorer... The White Buffalo a solid contender in s stacked era who fought multiple ATG and HOF shouldn't be compared to these two you're right, but it's the other way around.

 

Yeah is there something I'm missing with this guy? He looks awful to me.
