Matthew Macklin flew out to Youngstown to be at ringside and called Pavlik out tonight.

    Pavlik is ducking Macklin!!

Macklin trying to catch Pavlik's attention better not mean he's overlooking Dmitry Pirog, for his own sake.

Macklin has the heart of a lion! He would fight both on the same night.

PW is the only fight out there that makes sense, unless Sturm managed to find his testicles.

I think Pavlik wears him down and stops him late, but he better do it now. Paul will eventually grow into that frame of his and learn to sit down on his punches.

hhhmmm! not sure what the logic there is.

Obviously your knowledge of boxing and geography is limited to the US and dare I say Ohio.

If he is ringside in Youngstown tonight I think that counts as having "set foot on american soil"

So what if he never fought in the US - Pavlik never fought in Europe - what has that got to do with anything?? And for the record he has TWO KO wins in the US.

Since Macklin stepped up from LMW to MW and switched trainers he is like a different fighter.

If he is a nobody then Pavlik shouldnt have anything to worry about then eh!?

ok so he has had two fights in the us and one of them was a against a good friend of mine anthony little who actually has an amateur win over pavlik. but ne way i am just wanna see kp and pw its the best fight out there. and pav probly wont run to fight macklin cause he is a nobody here that was what i was trying to say

I thought the winner of Macklin-Pirog was Pavlik's mandatory anyways. If Mack takes care of business, he'll get his shot. Whoever wins will be a deserving challenger, I might add.

Macklin I dont think may beat Pirog tho i like Pavlik-Macklin, Id add him to the 2010 Pavlik lineup: Williams, Sturm and Macklin to take a easy one ;).
