I read about this fight on the Euro forum...who wins? As much as I hate to say it I think that the Brewster victory finished Liakhovich as a fighter. He has never looked the same since. I have a feeling that Krasniqi takes this one easily.
Lyakhovich looked good in one fight ever. He really got up for the Brewster fight, but other than that, has always looked average and unmotivated. Even against a shot Krasniqi, it might be a pick em fight.
I agree. Lyakhovich looked terrible against Valuev. But I think it was the two long periods of inactivity that ruined him (thanks to his promoter, Don King, who has done the same to many others).
Hard to know what to make of Lyakhovich at times, he seems like he needs a good kick up the backside at times to get him going. I think he still wins this if he's motivated, Krasniqi's looked even worse.
I always felt that both fighters were finished after that fight. You have to keep in mind that Brewster had taken a lot of punishment in the fights leading up to it and Liakhovich just added to it. Liakhovich, even in victory, took a lot of hard shots from Brewster. You just don't take that many punches from a guy that big without having a few years taken off your career. The Briggs KO certaily didn't help matters either. Liakhovich is done but he might still have enough left to beat Krasniqi, another guy whose career Brewster shortened.
Truly spoken, brickhaus! As much as I like Lyakhovich I have to admit that a victory against Krasniqui isnt a sure bet.I will surely root for White Wolf and loudly support him as I try to attend this upcomming fight event live, but Sergej didnt look like a shot fighter against Valuev. On the other hand Krasniqui didnt impress me much either by quitting against Thompson. I very much hope that Lyakhovich will be able to outpoint the German based Albanina quitter who now and then can put up a very decent show of boxing.
There is no gurantee anyone will show up to fight. Krasniqi didn't even attempt to fight back against Thompson, I have never seen anything like that. Liakhovich is lazy.
I think Krasniqi will take it. Laikhovich seems be on his way out. Maybe he can regroup and improve his game after the Valuev loss, though. With Valuev's jab and size to deal with, Liak looked like a TBA in that fight.
Dont know, they both gave Brewster all he could handle. While Liakhovich won a close decision against Brewster, Krasniqi was winning the whole fight till the 8th and 9th round when Brewster landed some big blows and was able to end the fight. I see Liakhovich winning also, but if the fights in Germany I got it a 50/50, especially if it goes to the cards.
