I mean, I get that the WBA is juggling ratings because they want this to happen, but Krassyuk, who is generally one of boxing's more honest promotors, says that there are no negotiations and that all just mentioned in the hypothetical. Krassyuk says that Usyk is on to his mandatories.

Usyk beating Wilder will be solid for boxing right now.

But boxing politics won't make it happen.

Usyk will have to beat DD, Hrgovic and Joyce first.

I love the guy, but he is 36 and fights once a year. If that is the case, he will probably hang them up after another defense. There is just no point in these fights, even Joyce, who makes a good fight and is well liked but has no accomplishments to add to Uysk's legacy.

    Hope I am wrong.

This promoter never has any good news.

They need to get something going. From what I understand, Dubois is one of the mandatories (WBA). Hrgovic is #1 in the (IBF). Then Joyce and Ruiz are top in the (WBO).

It's time for them to get one of these fights done and stop wasting time. These are all good match-ups except Dubois.

They are all no win fights aswell. Dubois is a bit of a laughing stock at the moment but the dude hits like a mule. Usyks not the biggest puncher in the world either so it's debatable whether or not he could stop Dubois even if Daniel hasn't shown a great chin. Hrgovic, again, not that impressive but is a big man who packs a punch. Joyce is a downright dangerous fight. Pretty funny how Usyk is expected to go through all these fighters but the so called champ Tiresome Fairy gets a free pass.

If Usyk-Fury has still some chance to happen, then it's normal for Usyk to go for his mandatories meanwhile, if he keeps the idea of the undisputed. Also, it's convenient for him to do so, as Wilder is a risk with no return. Considering the poor activity of Usyk, it's interesting when he's going to defend all those titles and when him and Fury are going to fight, as the sanctioning bodies made already a big compromise by letting him not fighting for 8 months so far and be sure it'll take another 2-3 for his next fight, so as usual - Usyk fights once per year. I don't get why.

Lets be honest chance of undisputed title fight is gone. This was small window when it was possible to make and Fury did everything to not make it.

I dont see Usyk fighting Dubois then Joyce then Hergovic.

Small chance is they make tournament with top boxers.

lets say wilder Fury joyce dubouis hergovic Usyk ruiz and whyte, but that is not happening.

The only fight for Usyk then now is Joyce, surely?

Joyce is a tough customer, I don't think he'd need more than a few months to recover from Zhang.

Usyk and Hrgovich the casuals arent interested in. Usyk Dubois or Usyk Joyce would garner a bit of attention in the U.K. I wonder how long the bodies will allow Usyk to hold the belts for. Clock is ticking.

Wilder is scared of eastern europeans with skills , he is a contender now, he needs to prove himself to earn a title shot, enough with the cherry picking.

He should try to make Wilder happen. Beat him and do it in the States. He will then have name recognition in both Britain and the USA plus the fight will be a money spinner and have a degree of prestige to it that a Hrgovic/Dubois fight wouldn't. Everyone will be calling for a Fury fight then and he'll have more to bring to the table. There really will be nowhere to turn for Fury at that point. If he still can't make it retire. Chisora, Joshua x 2 and Wilder as four of your first five fights at this weight when stepping up is a damn fine record. Holyfield had seven bum fights at heavyweight before stepping up to challenge for a title to put it in to context. He can go out with his head held high and no one will hold the lack of Fury on his record against him.

Wilder of course doesn't deserve to jump the queue. But he holds value and it's a smart move for Usyk.

I don't mind Krassyuk but I'm tired of him coming out saying what isn't on the table, what isn't being negotiated....& he isn't the only 1.

Us fight fans want to know what IS going to be made....until something is concrete and 99% close to being done, don't speak.

It makes sense usyk will avoid a wilder fight .

He would put all his belts on the table and wilder currently has nothing to offer. If usyk wins he will not gain much , if he looses than all his titles are gone .

It would only make sense for usyk when he would be SURE to beat wilder easily - but wilder is unpredictable and there is always a high risk to be knocked out by his right hand .

Wilder would fight usyk for sure , he has no belt to loose.

Wilder would jump at the opportunity to fight Usyk, and other than Fury he's also the most marketable of any potential Usyk opponent and has the best wins. I'm not surprised Usyk doesn't want to do it because he wants to cling to those belts. Wish he would just drop two of them and defend one as he sees fit. There's no time for mandatories. Undisputed is now or never.
