Haha true. I bought into the Steward hype that he had a Hearns replica. Although I'm sure he's said that about a number of other guys too! Still, want to see more of him. Both in the boxing ring and in the shower.

Harrison didn't impress me at all in his last fight. I think Manny's trying hard to build the hype, but he just doesn't have the fighter to go with it.

Some of last nights kids, though, MAN, that was fun to watch! It took me right back. I could actually "smell" the gym.

Too bad all the technical difficulties, but it was still great.

 

Speaking of Harrison & the Kronk webcasts, did anyone else see Louis Hernandez vs Rashad Hughs on the Harrison undercard?

I posted about it elsewhere, with no responses. This was only a 4 rounder, IIRC, but WOW what a fight! Intense, back & forth action the whole time, and both fighters looked really good. One of the best fights of the year, IMO. I sure wish I had taped it.

There is only round three currently on YouTube. Without the intense first 2 rounds, you can't get a sense of how good this fight was, (Hernandez barely survived the first round) but it's still worth watching:
