Fight is not yet confirmed, but the possible date is May 3rd in Stuttgart Germany. Fight is for the WBA Cruiserweight title of the world. What are your thoughts on Arslan v Wlodarczyk? I saw Arslan fight once v Virgill Hill. He looked OK... but I think his style is perfect for Wlodarczyk. Ill take Wlodarczyk points. But also take into fact that this fight in in Germany. :verysad Wlodarczyk is comming of 3 wins comming by way of TKO/KO after his loss to IBF champ Steve USS Cunninghamm. Arslan is comming of a UD win v Virgil Hill
Stop bringing in Germany as a factor... :-( I see a fight that could go either way. Arslan had some problems with Brudov and the Russian has a similar style to Wlodarcyk. Anyway, a good fight for the cruiserweight division. Btw, it looks to me as if the CWs are the most active fighters in recent times, lots of title fights... :good

The former champion has now won three straight by KO since surrendering his world title to current champion Steve Cunningham last May. The card also featured unbeaten WBC Youth cruiser belterholder Pawel Kolodziej (20-0, 12 KOs) who stopped Laszlo Hubertem (8-1, 5 KOs) in round seven and light heavyweight Dawid Kostecki (27-1, 19 KOs) who outpointed Armenem Azizianem (8-5, 1 KO) over eight.[/FONT]
After the Melkomian FIASCO in Germany, I am surprised Wlodarczyk is considering a return. I'm going to be pessimistic for this one and predict that Wlodarczyk will hand out a whoopin to Arslan but somehow lose the fight on points, like last time he fought in Deutschland.
I can see it that way as well. I still think Wlodarczyk will win on points tho. Diablo will whoop ass!
I've never seen Arslan fight. His record looks average. I do know Wlodarczyk though and he's making NO progress whatsoever. He looked pretty awful last night against a poor opponent. Supposedly he was injured but he's always like that. Wlodarczyk is just not active enough in the ring and does nothing to change this. If Adamek loses to Bell, Wlodarczyk-Adamek would be a fight I'd really like to see.
Doubt it. Cunninghamm has no intrest in him. Cunninghamm has more intrests in a unification. Whitch is good too.
