I guess Wlodarcyk via KO finally shouldn't be an option any more...and Macca wouldn't KO Arslan either...

Wlodarczyk could TKO him. Thus it should be a option.

Both these guys have iron chins.

I cant believe it! More than 50 % of the posters voted for a ko victory for Wlodarzyk.

The Pole showed two not very convincing fights against Cunningham, got a gift decision on his home turf against Sergej Karanevich from Belarus, had a close fight with the harmless German May who was recently destroyed by Herbi Hide, needed 6 rounds to stop Avila( Alexeev took him out in the very first round of their encounter),had to go 7 rounds with a ring clown and no-hoper like Ozbek, and went the full route with Coehlo who had been stopped in the very first round by the Italian based African geezer Yawe Davis as well as by most of his better opponents.

Nevertheless, there are some people here that the relatively feather fisted Pole is able to stop Arslan by way of knockout.
Damn! Arslan has gone the full route with well known punchers like Ding,Tokarev,or Drozd who play in a totally different league in terms of firepower.
Besides the Pole's fight record looks pathetic compared with Arslan's one.
Apart from Cunningham and the two gatekeepers Abdoul and Karanevich the Pole has only faced part time fighter, shot vets, extremely limited journeymen,no-hopers and unheralded clubfighters.

Anyway! Although I dont think that highly of the Pole he may have the style to bother Arslan and win a close point decision. No way that the Pole has enough firepower to take Arslan out!
Styles make fights. Up to a certain degree Wlodarzyk will be a more dangerous opponent than Ding was in Arlsan's last outing to a box ring.
Someone like Alexeev would walk through Wlodarczyk's punches and defence and wipe the floor with him,but Arslan doesnt have enough firepower to take him out. Therefore their encounter will probably go the full distance or Wlodarczyk runs out of gas in the later rounds and gives up the fight.

There was some rumour that Lubos Suda could have been the Pole 's next opponent fighting him on Polish soil. A pity that that rumour wasnt true!
Suda would have easily outpointed the Pole even on his home turf IMO.
Would have been a big skalp in his fight record and Arslan would probably have offered him a shot at his title. Suda was the last fighter who beat Arslan in the paid ranks.

A very good post. I wouldn't bet on Wlodarczyk in this fight.

Having said that I sure hope he fights Arslan. Wlodarczyk avoided some fithers in the past (Braithwaite a long time ago comes to mind) and should start taking some risks like Adamek because otherwise he's just getting nowhere.

Please get his **** out of your mouth!

Is there not a thread about CW's that you try and hi-jack with your Alexeev man-love?

He MAY be good but the subjext is Arslan vs Wlodarczyk just like the subject was Adamek vs Bell and so on.......

Odo you pushed Marco Huck off as some great young talent yet he fights like ****.I cant trust your eye for talent

Yea every time we bring up the Cruiserweights, you bring Alexeev out of your ass and praise him on how good he is. Guve it a break already. Im not trying to be a dick or anything but yea.

I agree tho, Wlodarczyk wouldn't be able to KO him, but im sure the majority of those posters who voted KO meant TKO, which I forgot to add in the poll. Wlodarczyk COULD TKO him. But his style won't affect Arslan imo so the possibility of a TKO is rather slim. I personally think Arslan would outbox him to a UD win. And im a Krzysztof fan.

:lol:My **** in Alexeev's mouth,eh! Thats like the pot calling the kettle black, mate! I bet my house that you have voted for a Wlodarczyk by ko,havent you!

Alexeev was an outstanding amateur, and he has looked great in the paid ranks up to now. Unlike Woldarczyk he has the potential to reign the cruiser weight division for a very long time.In fact,he is one of the most promising fighters of all weight divisions out there.
Nah! I didnt try to hijack this thread. As I stated I for my part dont think that highly of the relatively feather fisted Pole.

As for Huck, yep, I thought that he would beat Cunningham. He didnt and I was proved wrong.I still hope that he can make some noise though. The punch and the power is there. However,he still has to learn one or two things before rematching Cunningham or taking on another world champ, but lets not forget that Huck didnt have a long amateur career and that he had a shot at a world title after only about 18(?) pro fights.

This would be a very entertaining fight, i got Arslan via UD.:yep

And i agree Alexander Alexeev is one of the best prospects in boxing, I'd like to see him get more active though.
