This is turning out to be a good piece of matchmaking. It would have been difficult, Cordina out for 16 months, could have been too easy for him and on the other side you don't want to give Cordina too much.

First 5 rounds were too easy for Cordina but now he is being asked a few questions, still comfortable but it's good to see he isn't having it all his own way.

 

R7. Cordina, Kourbanov started with a beautiful combo and then just slowed the rest of the round. A bit more activitiy and he wouldve won that one for me on landing the most significant shots of the round, shame

 

Considering he's had 16 months out, he doesn't look to shabby. He's a real natural instinctive boxer Cordina.

Enjoyed watching this a good workout for Cordina.

 

Good peripheral vision and poise from Cordina this round, standing right in front of Kourbanov drawing the lead and countering with his own shots.

imo he looks better when he stands his ground

 

I don't see why everyone thinks Okolie is gonna run through Glowacki. Okolie to me looks a little stiff and robotic, pretty basic. I guess people think Glowacki is shot and the lay-off is going to hurt him. All I can say is if he isn't shot, I think Okolie is going to have some problems. This is a very big step up in class for him.

 

When Kourbanov throws he has a lot of success, problem is he just sits there and lets Cordina pitter patter him for 25 seconds then throws a combo
