Come on dude anyone can look good against a 34 year old whose two years out of the ring and last fight he was KOd.. Then you slap on the fact Okolie is a weight bully and that Glowacki was tailor made from the get go...not impressive at all, and not really a great or even good win given the context /circumstances

Totally neglect the quite obvious weight bullying that goes on in boxing. Weight advantage can easily negate skill advantage.. Youre not a fan of boxing if you're in favour of this ****

I’m not ignoring it I literally asked the question

I can’t find any evidence of Okolie being unusually heavy for a CW (struggling to make weight, large rehydration). Hence I asked if there was any such evidence.

It's not a hype machine when he's already become a world champ in dominant fashion.

Yeah, it is, when the opponent was shot, past it and literally tailor made for him.

They matched up well stylistically but I don't think Glowacki is shot, just met his kryptonite in a long and powerful guy who operates very well on the outside and negates any inside work. Okolie still needed to fight a good fight and he showed he was more than up to the task. He's world level for sure now. I'm happy to admit I was wrong about him after Askin/Chamberlain.

From working at McDonald's to becoming a world champion.

    That's quite a story.

 Kinda glad I didn't catch this. A guy I more than moderately dislike trouncing a guy I like is never palatable. :sisi1

That's not a hype job. That's a fighter achieving a dream after 16 fights whilst managing his career sensibly. It would have been mad to put him in with the best in the division now but he's managed to become World Champ by being professional, being a very good boxer and taking his chance.

DD isn't a hype job either. He's a very green but promising heavy weight that people should be excited to watch improve.

What is this obsession on this board with trying to make out every fighter is trash or just a hype job?

For his debut at Heavyweight... I got a match that would sell itself, literally... it would roll right off the tongue, and it would probably go viral, everyone would love saying it.

Erm...isn't that what Wlad did for most of his career - seemed to work for him??? ;)
