Then I'm going to have to vote for Glowacki instead lol. Maybe perception has shifted somewhat after Okolie's last performance because I got the impression that most were favouring the Pole. That being said, the bookies actually had Okolie as the favourite going into their aborted clash last November so maybe not.

Yeah and had been posted that he had this covid:(. Doesn't looks promising.

I think Briedis experience is levels above Okolie experience and because Briedis despite looked aging in this fight, still package high power for his size.

Yeah and ref might allow him to be octopus. :(:(:(
The guy Okolie had in last fight didn't had Glowacki experience level, not even close. Okolie looked improved and beated this guy up easily.

It gets worse for Glowacki because he has to KO Okolie to win in Britain. Glowacki has been knocked down twice in his career pre-Breidis: once by Marco Huck, once more by Serhiy Radchenko and Briedis knocked him down multiple times and KO'd him early in his last fight (albeit with help from the elbow). The last time Glowacki had a fight of any substance or benefit to him was against Maxim Vlasov 29 months ago, which he won by UD. Glowacki also apparently had Covid which must have prevented him from training for some time, so it doesn't look good for him.

    I agree.

This was prime Huck version, Huck who was capable to fight close fight vs 32 y.o Povetkin all 12 rounds.
Exactly on Huck Glowacki managed to put impressive beating and stop Huck brutally. Huck looked damaged.

There I think Briedis had stopped him even with another ref and without elbow. Glowacki didn't managed to get any effect from his rabbit punch and this punch was impressively strong. Briedis just continued smoothly after this punch he had get from Glowacki.

Yeah, if he had covid then his chances to stop Okolie might been decreased seriously.

If he managed to land on Okolie the same kind of beating as he did vs Huck, Okolie might had finished.
Glowacki ofc now is older than was vs Huck. :(

I forgot about it being over here in Britain. Glowacki is really up against it.

He was also stopped in the amateurs by David Price and the former #1 ranked SHW in the world Islam Timurziev. To be fair both were massive bangers and much naturally bigger than him.

Jesus wept! He had covid too.

Glowacki can really crack but Breidis' power is even more potent

True but even though Glowacki is the better and far more proven and accomplished fighter of the two he has an awful lot against him here

I might have been a bit too harsh on Glowacki: he's a big puncher, Okolie has never faced an opponent of his quality in the pros (assuming Glowacki hasn't declined too much) and there are question marks over Okolie's punch resistance. Savon had him down in at least two separate fights and TKO'd him in the 1st round in 2016. This may be the reason for Okolie's incessant clinching; to protect his glass jaw. I suspect that the British ref will let Okolie get away with a lot of his dirty tactics though.

Knowing that the judges will rip you off is liberating in a way because you are focused entirely on taking the other man's head off, while the other man is in two minds about whether to fight for points or go for the KO himself. This could be a blessing in disguise for Glowacki.

All depends on the referee, how strong he is and how early he warns Okolie for holding, grabbing and spoiling.. assuming Okolie does what Okolie does.

If Okolie is allowed to do what he normally does against anybody he considers remotely dangerous and hug them half to death then we have a problem.

I'm hoping because it's a world title fight then we might have some level of fairness and after some of the disgraceful decisions we've seen recently they can't take too many liberties.

Glowacki is dangerous, is game, he is tough, so if Okolie beats him fair and square then we all have to give Okolie credit.

But if I am honest I have a bad feeling about this fight, I think it will be a drawn out hug fest, with the referee "warning" Okolie many many times without taking points, allowing Okolie to spoil, hold and take liberties.

So Glowacki is really going to struggle if it goes to the cards and will struggle to get any kind of level playing field.

Sadly, I think Okolie probably wins. It's a horrible thought bit Głowacki has so much mounting uo against him. Too much.
