This fight would've been real must-see TV when these guys were at their primes, but they're both fighting like they know those days are long behind them. Doesn't seem like either wants to really hurt the other or risk getting hurt more themselves.
Round 4 Durodola 10-9 Round 5 Durodola 10-9 Diablo is holding way too much, and running, looks scared and decrepit, he need to hang 'em up. Ola hurt him to the body late. Cruiserweight is No Country For Old Men, son.
Wlod hasn't landed much over all but he's managing at least a few full force power shots a round to snag most of these, in my book. Even landed a weird left handed uppercut lead in the first...
Both look completely scared, this is the worse fight I've seen in the cruiserweight division for ages
I went to Newark to see Gassiev knock Diablo out, I figured he was done and had no idea this was going on seems like a good crossroads some one goes away fight
First two. First round Durodola threw basically nothing at all. Second round he landed pretty much nothing at all, at least from what I saw. Not saying that Diablo had anything worth talking about, but still better than nothing
Round 4 Durodola 10-9 Round 5 Durodola 10-9 Round 6 Durodola 10-9 Diablo has his high guard up, Ola hooking around it and tagging him o the body, Diablo attempts a little offense, then he runs and holds, Ola clubbing him with hooks, some landing others not, but Diablo is doing nothing.
Again, not much landing by either guy. Wlodarzdyk especially, perhaps a bit uncharacteristically fighting very careful. The only real clean punch landed was by Diablo in the beginning of the round. 39-37 Diablo
Round 1 Diablo 10-9 Round 2 Diablo 10-9 Round 3 Durodola 10-9 Round 4 Durodola 10-9 Round 5 Durodola 10-9 Round 6 Durodola 10-9 Round 7 Diablo 10-9 Neither man landing much clean, Diablo did manage to land a beauty of a short uppercut though, and another late to edge it.
Good round for Dura (considering how this fight has been) landed some nice body shot combinations on a couple occassions. Diablo fighting very tentative, pretty much plain running at times. Anyways, 48-47 Diablo for me.
