Right now there is a 6-round undercard bout underway: Lukasz Maciec vs. Bronislav Kubin.

    3rd round just ended.

Maciec looks to be in control, as the heavily tattooed Kubin is expending lots of energy coming forward and throwing a high volume of slow punches.

    Round 1

Ugonoh keeps a good pace moving around the ring and jabbing well. Raad keeps on steady pressure. Ugonoh tired a bit already by the end of the round, but so far is boxing very nicely and blocking most of Raad's attacks.

    10-9 IU

    Round 2

Ugonoh jabs and steps inside, pulling Raad forward by the back of the head. Raad is unable to get off on the inside, with his arm movements too slow and with too much reliance on his upper arms, little change in the angle of his elbows. Raad keeps coming forward and leaning into Ugonoh and being unable to punch cleanly. Ugonoh jabs him from range. Mouthpiece out, put back in for Raad. Ugonoh now hits him against the ropes with a good 1-2 and repeats it. Raad in some trouble. Ugonoh puts together longer combinations, mixing in hooks and uppercuts. Raad takes a lot of clean headshots and finally goes down, doing a short slow somersault. Raad beats the count at eight and rushes right back at Ugonoh before the bell rings.

    20-17 Ugonoh

Ugonoh drops Raad with about 20 seconds left in round 2 but Raad makes it to the bell. He's clearly hurt. 20-17 Ugonoh.

    Round 3

WHOA!!! Raad is mad!!! He comes running into Ugonoh and pounding away with forceful power punches that have Ugonoh wilting against the ropes!! Finally the referee calls for a break as Raad runs out of steam and starts leaning into Ugonoh against the ropes. Ugonoh is on the back foot jabbing. Raad follows, but is no longer attacking. Ugonoh picks him off with jabs and uppercuts while moving backward. Raad is just walking slowly into them, hands down. Big lunging right hand carries Raad off balance and Ugonoh sidesteps out of his way. Ugonoh slapping Raad behind the head with long right hands. Raad gets inside and leans his forehead and forearms against Ugonoh, trying to hold him still to work some punches inside. He doesn't get a chance as Ugonoh pulls the chair out from under him and throws short counters. Big right hand by Ugonoh. Three punch combo, now. Raad taking big punches against the ropes.

Wow, nice turnaround by Ugonoh. That seemed almost certain to be a Raad round based on the first thirty seconds.

    30-26 Ugonoh

Ugonoh ends the round strong, 30-26. I like this guy, he looks like he's got some good potential.

    Round 4

Ugonoh is throwing his jab low and between Raad's wrists, hitting his chest. Ugonoh backs up with his high guard, gloves tight in front of his face and long bony forearms stretching down to his waistline - not giving Raad any spaces to hit him. Raad keeps leaning into him, trying to get a short hook in. Ugonoh keeps muscling him away and then letting his hands go in quick powerful bursts. Raad ineffectively bulldozing his way inside and getting hit in the head and flanks.

    40-35 Ugonoh
