    Round 6

Hard body jab by Wlod. Following, doing little else. Palacios just slides his feet back so he's just out of Wlod's punching range but can still land with his own long-armed jabs. Lots of pace changes by Palacios, circling at a lulled clip and then suddenly speeding up. Palacios effectively jabbing and moving, making Wlod chase. Right hands from Wlod still get cheered but aren't landing in any meaningful way.

    10-9 FP

Diablo pressing on the gas a little more, just a little, and landed a couple of good shots in there that didn't much hurt Palacios but got the crowd roaring at least.

    57-57

    Round 7

Slapping combos from Palacios as he stops on a dime and lurches forward every few paces. Wlod is following along without punching and finally tries a double jab, which lands. Palacios literally turns his back to Wlod and jogs while taking a breather and looking over his shoulder, and gets LOUDLY booed by the Poles. Wlod stays after him, but isn't getting close and getting any punches off. Slapping 1-2 around the guard by FP. KW feints with a jab as Palacios hangs back against the ropes. Palacios using the full ring, moving. Wlod not getting near him.

    69-64 Palacios

Without a KD, Diablo can only manage a draw on my card at this point.

Another round for Palacios. So far I've only given Wlod round 4.

are the rounds close enough for the judges to be swayed by the home crowd?

    Round 8

Palacios is boldly sticking his jab into Wlod's face. Palacios circling to his left just out of Wlod's reach. A few chippy exchanges as Palacios turns Wlod, but neither really lands clean. Wlod misses a jab. Palacios backs off to the ropes, and hooks his way off of them. Wlod then turns and walks him into the next set of ropes. Palacios is up on his toes moving around and jabbing Wlod from the outside. Again Palacios almost turns completely away from Wlod while marching across the ring. Wlod hops to the side to cut him off and reaches with a big right hand, and grazes him with it. Palacios changes directions side to side a few times, leaving Wlod confused and open for a hard right uppercut that Palacios steps into. Palacios jabs and moves. Clinch. Bell.

    79-73 to the challenger

I don't know. They probably shouldn't be, really.

Palacios isn't hurting Wlod at all, but is giving him a bit of a boxing lesson.

At times, he gets on his bike and boxes too negatively though. (ie when he turns his back and literally runs).

Wlod isn't giving the crowd a chance to sway the judges.
