    Round 8

The referee tries to maintain order, telling them to stop as they engage in some feisty grapples. Starikov isn't letting Jonak have anything easy, refusing to stay still in range and either floating around the ring or stepping forward and attempting to pin his arms and head down. The referee tussles Starikov's hair like a naughty child while breaking them up. Jonak chases with his jab, misses. Starikov is turning his left shoulders in and sticking his bicep out to block, then flurrying away with both hands. Starikov is like a Russian Sergio Mora. OK, maybe not that bad. Russian Ishe Smith. :yep

    Starikov 10-9

    77-73 Jonak

It looked like shutout first. But he adapted late well. If only he had power.

He's going to lose decisively on the cards I think but he's holding his own. No shame in this performance.

Give the last round to Jonak, 79-72.

Starikov did OK, actually. Didn't get his ass handed to him, just lost clearly.

    Jonak wins a UD.

Yep, exactly. He looked over matched but he wasn't getting beaten all over the ring.

He actually made Jonak look really stupid at certain points. Defense/footwork is his best asset. :good

He only really got hit cleanly/dropped when he got careless and lowered his guard.

And there hes is, always on everyone's back, telling them to keep their chin low and hand up. Even when hitting the bag, if you take a breather, you keep your chin down and hands up. He detaches good defence.

One more cruiserweight bout betfore Wlodarczyk-Palacios:

Lukasz Janik vs. Cristian Dolzanelli, 10 rounds.

I'm going to switch over and cover Huck-Nakash (also starting now) and will return to do the main event. :good

If anyone wants to stick with the Polish card for now, feel free to hold down the fort here.
