Wlodarczyk is setting traps now, leaning deeply over to his right and then SLAMMING Chakhkiev in the face with a can-opener right. It thunks with a sickeningly noisy crunch on Chakhkiev's jawline but he keeps walking forward. Left uppercut leads by Chakhkiev, just missing. Wild leaping right hook by Chakhkiev, sidestepped. Wlodarczyk is sliding back and pointing his arms outward to slap down Chakhkiev's punches, then shuffling in to clinch when he can. Chakhkiev drops a few straight lefts to the body. Wlodarczyk feints with a big right hand and Chakhkiev flinches back on his heels before ricocheting forward to throw a combo. Wlodarczyk times a right hand but it has no effect. Chakhkiev is up in his face with the right jab, crowding.

To be fair, Wlodarczyk did land the prettiest single punch of the 4th...by no means his round, though.

Round 5

Wlodarczyk is cracked by a right hook and the crowd goes wild. Wlodarczyk keeps his composure and blocks most of Chakhkiev's follow-up while keeping his feet planted or steadily lifting and re-staking them in an effort to focus on his balance and putting up a wall using his arms. No offense from the champion, reverting completely to survival mode. A few body shots are chucked in low by Wlodarczyk before the bell.
