Not sure if this info has been posted before but this statement of his probably wasn't:

"I would like to thank you all very much, all those who supported me in these last days - my collegues and trainers from the 12 Round Knockout group, my promoters, friends and family.

Thank you very much to my last opponent, Francisco Palacios, to Steve Cunningham, Tomasz Adamek and everybody who, by posting on internet forums and in e-mails, were supporting and reassuring me. It is very nice that people can support you not only when you are succesful but also in difficult moments.

I'd also like to thank the WBC president, Jose Sulaiman for a beautiful letter and wise words. I promise I will do everything so you could keep being proud of the fact that I'm a WBC champion. I got knocked out not by an opponent but by life.

But I'm a boxer. I'm going to get up and keep fighting!"

I say he should come back to the ring! For some reason, despite what most are probably thinking, I get the feeling he can be stronger than ever now that he kind of faced his demons!

Welcome back, Krzysztof, we are with you! Good luck!

Yes. I've heard that he wants to fight Danny Green or Marco Huck. Personally I'd like to see him in a rematch against the Wizard Palacios, but any of those 3 fights would be good, especially as a comeback.

Apparently Palacios was strongly supporting him lately cause he's mentioned in the letter. I don't think Diablo will want to fight him again. Unless it's a Wizard's wish.

Wasn't he about to set up a fight against Huck before being hospitalized?

Didn't see that. Very considerate of Palacios, Adamek and USS to offer support to Wlod like that, not that I'd expect any less, all 3 are true gents.

First he needs a good therapist, and stay the **** away from them Prozacs (which are known to cause suicidal thoughts), then perhaps he can think about fighting again. I don“t see him being back this year though.

Overdose of antidepressants. Basically, he wanted to commit suicide. He was put into a med coma.

Depressed or not, he's WBC champ and in line for a big pay-day. If he takes a year off he may vacate the title, since his last opponent (Palacios) deserves an immediate rematch.

There was a piece on the Scene (post-hospitalization) that quoted Wlod as leaning towards a fight in Aussie with Danny Green.

Palacios basically shut him out in his last fight and Krzysztof got the worst robbery decision I've ever witnessed in my life. He maybe landed 10/15 punches the whole fight!! Palacios was pretty negative himself (the worst title fight I've ever watched for 12 rounds) but easily won 11 out of 12 rounds and got robbed by hometown polish judging. This fight was a disgrace to boxing even without the shitty decision it was the most boring fight I've ever witnessed....Valuez vs Ruiz was better.... Klitschko vs Ibragimov was even better!! If any casuals tuned into this farce they will no longer be casuals.

If this paper champ decides to fight again he needs to rematch Palacios in neutral territory.

That said, glad that he's doing ok and if I was him I'd retire, he looked like a shot to **** journeyman in his last outing.

Exaggerate much? Palacios ran, ran and ran some more. The fight was **** mostly because of him. If you want the belt, you have to engage.

Wow, I missed that. Hopefully he overcomes and continues to box should he so choose.

He got a rain of **** for the Palacios fight, maybe especially from Polish fans. But basically, I think he was just not himself lately, even then. Personal problems were affecting him heavily, I could tell this from interviews. Hopefully this is the new beginning for him and he'll come back with new motivation, better than ever. If Palacios fancies the fight, he should of course get it, he deserves it badly.
