Yeah, it makes a joke of the sport while actual professionals usually can't even make a living out of it. But there are a lot of people who favor circus events over the actual sport.
I thought the Flintoff thing was rock bottom back in the day, turns out people removed the rocks and found a much deeper trench underneath (The Meg style)

 

I'm annoyed by it, but this could be huge for DAZN.

But Eddie prob knows what he's doing. I don't really have interest in either, but i will prob watch the fight anyways, just for the spectacle and entertainment.

This sport can't produce it's own stars anymore. You think in Tysons day he'd be selling less ppv than some celebrity fight?

 

Making a mockery of the sport.

I've no issue with them doing their own exhibitions but this should not cross over into professional boxing cards. There's professionals that have given their life to this sport that struggle to pay their rent.

This YouTube generation gets on my nerves and I'm only 32, must be getting old.

 

The first time they met in the ring, they sold 21k tickets and made around 10mil on YouTube PPV.

 

I dont like this one bit loads of screaming kids at a pro boxing event.

if their bottom of the card fine but two novices headlining a pro card, I will be amazing if any top class fighter wants to be on the undercard for that, if Billy Joe agrees to that I'd be amazed whatever the money principles should come into play.

 

This is a good thing, these two are very popular amongst young people so it's a great opportunity to bring a new audience to boxing.

 

They reportedly sold over a million PPVS for the first fight, so it’s obvious why it’s been picked up.

 

Where is BJS self respect. This is your profession, you’re a world champion, and you’re the undercard of some YouTube dweeb?
