    Takam is a better opponent.

    He fights live opposition.

Pulev is garbage but you're too stupid to know it.

since they picked takam as the new mandatory that means Joshua will probably get 1 or 2 fights of who he wants till another ibf mandatory right?

    I reckon.

The sanctioning bodies need to get out of the way next year & let the belt holders do their thing.

All of the heavies should be given free reign to fight who they want & let's see what happens.

It is a damn shame they screwed over Ortiz with a fake drug test failure. Joshua would have had no choice but to fight Ortiz. Ortiz was a idiot to fall for Wilders b's games. Wilder never intended on fighting Ortiz he just used him to get his next b's fight on Showtime. And Pulev should lose his IBF title shot. Pulev is scared to death of Joshua. Now Joshua gets to fight another tomato can. Wilder and Joshua has glass chins and they are some of the most protected fighters I've ever seen. I thought heavyweight boxing would get better after Wlad was gone but I was wrong. Joshua and Wilder both do not want to take any risky fights. Heavyweight boxing sucks. At least in UFC the best fight the best.It is just amazing every time Wilder takes a risky fight they always fail their drug test leaving Wilder no choice but to fight another tomato can he already beat. I knew Pulev was not going to face Joshua just like I knew Wilder would not be fighting Ortiz. Hell Wilder ever predicted Ortiz would fail his drug test. Wilder already knew in advance.

Pulev didn't earn another title shot anyway. He was looking for a excuse out of this fight anyway.

He fought Chisora for the number 1 spot and has been waiting a year for this fight.

How was it fake, Ortiz confirmed he was taking a banned substance? I know you highly rated Ortiz but he only has himself to blame for this. All he had to do was follow the rules and he didn't. This wasn't some conspiracy, he 100% took a banned substance. He could of easily taken a number of different blood pressure meds that were not on the banned list but chose one that helped mask doping and so was rightly caught for it.

Takam isn't a tomato can. I'd say he's gate keeper level at worst. Yeah he's worse than Pulev but I think he'll actually give a better fight than Pulev who stylistically was never going to be able to compete. Joshua Pulev was going to be 3 rounds max, Takam might actually last a bit longer.

You can't lump Joshua and Wilder together like that. Wilder has fought only Stiverne and all he did was beat a gatekeeper in Arreola. Joshua just beat Wlad and is currently meeting his mandatory obligations, you can't say he's choosing an easy path, he's not even had 20 fights yet and has a future hall of famer on his resume and was about to fight a genuine top 5 heavyweight until injury took that from him.

Takam and Pulev have three common opponents: Thompson, Arias and Sprott. Takam performed better against all three. He's also never been in a one-sided blowout in his career.

I'd say at this point in their careers Takam is the superior fighter.
