Harris made his pro debut at 16 and has been a journeyman throughout although I recall the Larry Holmes fight where he won on my card.
Mo Harris used to be a dangerous journeyman. He's spent now.
From 97-2004 he was dangerous. This content is protected
Have you lost your tiny little mind? :rofl Yeah fighting a 26-20 bum is very okay. That guy would get sparked out by Jason Gavern and the guy Taishan Dong knocked out in 1 round.
I saw Mo Harris throw a triple left hook against Jimmy Thunder in 97ish that was the fastest triple hook I ever saw a HW throw. He was brought in to lose, and be KO cannon fodder for Thunder, but it ended being Harris's coming out party. He was once very talented. I also felt he outboxed an old Larry Holmes, but showed too much respect to Holmes, and let the judges take it from him. This content is protected
From 97-2004 he was dangerous. This content is protected
I think you're being kind. Harris looked very good in 1997 against Larry Holmes and Jimmy Thunder. But after he got starched by Derrick Jefferson 16 YEARS AGO ... not so much. I thought David Haye was picking an easy opponent in Mark De Mori. But Maurice Harris? Harris quit boxing a few years ago because he passed out in a store after a fight and the story was it was due to brain damage. How Harris could pass any physical exam is beyond me. Why would Pulev pick a guy who couldn't go ONE MINUTE with Ustinov in his last fight? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O0XZKOkpKTg Harris is a boxing fatality waiting to happen. This matchup is pathetic. Pulev should be ashamed of himself.

Williams who had a questionable chin was otherwise very competent fighter, and was probably the guy who always enjoyed an advantage in hand speed. Against Harris he was constantly beaten to the punch. You're right about the Jefferson fight. I guess took the wind out of his sails as a contender was concerned. This content is protected
