Three years ago Mike Perez was a heavyweight contender and now he can't win a cruiserweight tournament preliminary.

    Times change.

Wilder didn't offer Adamek a fight this spring. Wilder is fighting Ortiz.

Kubrat Pulev offered Adamek a fight NEXT, after turning down Joshua.

I don't know why you guys are trying to turn a Pulev thread into a Wilder thread.

The world doesn't revolve around Deontay Wilder. But apparently your worlds do.

When your wives ask you how your day was, do you say, "Okay, but three years ago on this day, you WON'T BELIEVE what Deontay Wilder did!!!!!"

    Get a life.

Aaaannd, the wussification of Pulev continues.

Can't believe anyone still considers him a top ten heavyweight. He sure as hell doesn't.

What's next on the radar? Sergei Lyakhovich maybe? Lamon Brewster?

Maybe the ever dangerous Luan Krasniqi?

That's probably a hell of a lot closer to the mark than my suggestions.

    I agree.

And I'm thinking Sosnowski is a frontrunner. He's Polish. Pulev seems like he wants to fight a Pole in Chicago.

Funny how Pulev was all up for fighting Wlad but is absolutely terrified of Joshua. Its the same with Haye , had no fear of Wlad at all but totally bottled it against Fury :meparto::lupie:

How old is Adamek now, he's got to be what 48? He's shot beyond belief, Pulev should be ashamed to even consider Adamek at this stage.

I believe he was injured vs Joshua. I think he just wants to bide his time vs beatable has beens or fringe cans before he gets another shot. Sensible.

It's true, Wlad knocks the courage out of fighters. It's very hard to think of anyone else in recent years that had that sort of effect on people.
