I am very excited about this fight. I think Pulev will win this with a late TKO. IMO Thompson will have his moments early on and land a couple of solid shots, but Pulev will weather the storm and be able to get to Thompson as he runs out of gas in the later rounds.

This a classic youth vs. old experienced fighter setup and I will just have to go with Pulev in this one. Still a big fan of Thompson though, gotta love this guy and wish him the best.

Thompson will expose this looping right hand fraud. Pulev could not even KO glass jawed Walker so there is no way in hell he stops TT. I look for Pulev to have problems with cuts do to his weak skin. The reason it is not on USA or UK is because no one knows who Pulev is because he stays in Europe and fights bums.

Do you think a 42 year old Thompson could go 12 rounds with Pulev and win on the scorecards? I don't. Outside of a freak early KO victory I can't see how Thompson wins this as his stamina will go down every round.

Actually Pulev has got more rounds on the ring having more than 200 fights as an amateur while TT had a very short amateur career. I know that these are not one and the same but still Pulev is not a newbie.

I see Thompson totally gassed out at about round 5. Five rounds latter he is beaten into submission and give up. TKO for Pulev

People are underestimating Thompson's stamina. He stops Pulev in 6.

There were rumors that Pulev has let his weight go and somebody here was questioning his conditioning a week or two ago. There are some pictures on Sauerland's FB page. He doesn't look bad at all. Seems like he's in great shape at least on the pictures.

I'm wondering. Thompson's not that easy to jab. The more I think about this fight the more I think Pulev's going to have his best weapon hampered and have to get into Thompson's face and it'll be ugly - two lanky guys over six three fighting inside, one southpaw. This might be a very strange scrappy mess.
He looks lean but healthy there. I think he's motivated and hungry.

Thompson is again, like vs Price both times, silly odds for a guy who has ONLY ever lost to Wladimir.

After winning heavily on Thompson vs Price, I will be betting on The Tiger once more.

Pulev can't crack an egg (single figure KOs), has only ever fought b level opponents and just one Southpaw and fell MASSIVELY short in the ams when he stepped up in class. Losing FIVE times out of SIX to Solis and Camarelle.

It will be the same story here.

Pulev will fall short and be stopped in the mid rounds :good

EDIT: Camarelle is a southpaw too. Not a great sign tbf!

You can get 4/1 on Thompson just to win.

Thompson is America's best heavyweight by far, but Pulev will beat him, either by decision, TKO or even KO.
