Pulev has beat good opposition, apart from Parker, Ruiz has only fought garbage and looked poor doing so. Ruiz’s performance against Parker was because either Parker is poor, or he had a off night. Even based off that performance it is a easy nights work for Pulev.
Would be surprised if either took this fight. Pulev only seems to want to fight soft touches and Ruiz Jr has not fought in ages. I'd favour Pulev if it happened but with Pulev showing little real desire anymore and Ruiz supposedly getting in better shape and likely being chemically enhanced now he's working with Memo Heredia who knows what could happen.
Not sure. Competetive fight... I dont rate Pulev has highly as others do. But he probably does edge it for me.
Think Andy might be hungrier. Normally I'd like Pulev to win but honestly he hasn't seemed very game since Wlad. Andy could pull this.
Pulev would shut Ruiz down , unlike Parker he won't be back pedaling and Ruiz short arms won't be finding range BC of his slow feet and he doesn't bend at the waist when he punches. Its two upright fighters...one is 6'1 the other 6'5 with a better jab..... No matter what you rate Pulev , clearly you can't put Ruiz as the favorite here .One would think Conaju was a decent fighter too, Parker has made guys look better than they actually are. Pulev has height, range and a style that could frustrate most. Ruiz is short, not seemingly heavier handed and doesn't have the little tricks Pulev possesses to not take punches.
I think of Ruiz as a bit of an unknown quantity so wouldn't make Pulev a favourite over him either. I always thought it would of been good business for Wilder's team to let Deontay flatten Pulev as they'd have picked up a lot of credibility for doing so whilst remaining risk averse in reality.
