I just don't get it. Everyone's least favorite part of boxing is clinching. The crowd boos when they see it. So why do they expect "boxing, but you can clinch more" to be popular?

Jumped the shark? They've humped the shark, the shark is pregnant and considering a lawsuit, they're more shark than show at this point.

Paying Michael Hunter not to fight Hrgovic and paying the guy Top Rank was building into a star not to fight at all was jumping the shark.

 

Apparently the "true middle ground between boxing and MMA" is boxing but with spinning back fists, more clinching and standing on your opponents toes, oh and a triangular ring.
