The Bulgarians have had the Iron Curtain. Now they need to prepare themselves for the Iron Skirt.

I've got a feeling Hughie is going to put a whipping on Pulev.

Peter Fury, OBE, said Hughie has filled out and got his man strength and is punching ''phenomenally hard'' now. He also acknowledges that Pulev has a strong set of whiskers and has only been stopped by a massive puncher in Wlad. If Wlad landed those savage left hooks he dropped and finished Pulev with on the whiskers of 99% of HWs they would've gone out the same way and many wouldn't have made it out of round one. That said, Pulev is 37 y/o now and he's never fought a slick gypsy before so his whiskers are probably not be as solid as they used to be.

Pulev will struggle to land anything but will still get a decision.

Yep, thats why he tested negative in all his VADA tests during training camp, including the one the day before he left for Chechyna. I suppose Oquendo is a drug cheat as well for testing positive, in Chechnya as well, the fight before? Or how about the long list of other fighters who go all positive if the beat the local favourite? Russia is a hell hole for foreign fighters, the should have given Browne and Oquendo belts just for going there.

Lol, did you read my post? Browne failed tests in Chechnia and outside of Chechnia. Different fights, different countries, different time frame.

Reckon a replay of the Parker fight where Hughie doesn't throw heaps, a reasonable percentage of what he throws doesn't land, and mixed in the few things that land are a number of illegal hits?

Yes, he failed for taking training supplements, out of training with no fight planned whilst signed up to both VADA and WBC clean boxing program. Its happened to every second fighter in boxing since VADA came into play, which is why I argue WADA needs to take over VADA because their testing protocols are so poor.

I predict that a lot of people will fall asleep, wake up not knowing who won, and that it won't matter because neither one of these guys will affect the division.

Dr Hughie Lewis will have his boxing surgery open for business in Sofia,
putting on a one time clinic for Pulev to attend.
He will be transplanting a sloppy guisepe pizza onto the face of KP via precision jabs and accepting a paper HW belt for his services.

Not too many people fancying Pulev by KO but the Bulgarian was definitely putting the hurt on granite-chinned defensive prodigy Kevin Blue Johnson. Hughie needs to be careful out there.

This will be Hughie's coming out party, he's going to squash Poolev like one of his cystic back zits.

I've never seen Pulev in better shape so far. Picking him for a winner by wide UD. According to his promoter Ivaylo Gotsev afrer this fight he's likely to go after the WBA regular belt if Bogdan Dinu wins over Jarrell ‘Big Baby’ Miller on November 17. Gotsev said he and Dinu had an agreement for such a bout.
