Well it is official for November 9th. What are your thoughts about Booker? The guy is a poor historic version of Mansour... Been to prison for a long time and tries to make a few bucks. Definitely a better opponent for Pulev, compared to Mark De Mori.
Arreola is not an option anymore, he looked very motivated in his recent loss against Kownacki, throwing over 1100 punches according to CompuBox. Although I think Pulev would win easy against Arreola, he is big risk for Pulevs plans to fight AJ/Ruiz winner.
Funny thing is that they are the same age. I think Booker is much better than DeMori, he is about on the same level as Chazz Witherspoon
I feel as if we're being karmically punished by the Boxing Gods for having it so good for the last two weekends. By getting a glut of awful news and **** fights in the span of a day and a half.
Typical of the HW division to see rubbish matchups like this. The HW division is a waste of time mostly.
Pulev (plus ESPN/Arum) isn't going to risk that either big payday against the Joshua vs Ruiz II winner, or a fight for the vacant IBF belt if the winner drops it.
I think he's fought 3 decent fights in 5 years . The next one will continue that streak so he's a close second to worst resume at top level behind Ortiz . This fight should be better then the Usyk one though , the thing is Pulev actually plans on fighting a guy no one cares to see him.fight , imagine if Usyk planned to fight Witherspoon over a month away ? Pulev is the guy you pick to win against most but doesn't fight anyone , he took a chance with Dinu and that turned into a rough one so his fight with AJ in 2020 will be his second big fight in 6 years. IDK? Maybe this Cobra got him venom removed because he hasn't done anything in 5 years or defeated anyone he shouldn't have , I like Pulev but if you can't make him fight he's not going to try , he should have called himself the Python because he just slowly takes the life out of his opponent .
Since his loss to Wlad, Pulevs record is George Arias Maurice Harris Derek Chisora Samuel Peter Kevin Johnson Hughie Fury Bogdan Dinu And now, Rydell Brooker. Jeez...
