The fight was a good example of why I rate Miller. Pulev is good and Dinu was a threat to him. Miller made Dinu fold and quit once he started turning pressure up.
He didn't fancy his chances with Joshua. We saw that when he embarrassingly asked for an absolute age to get ready like he'd come off a serious injury when he hadn't. I don't want to see him clutter up Joshua, Fury or Wilder's schedule TBH but it feels inevitable he will soon.
Think it's been twice with Joshua?Hearn must be using monopoly money as nobody interested in fighting Joshua.
Pulev showed no sign of aging with that relentless 1-2 attack. He looks as good today as he did 10 years ago. Id like to see the Joshua fight if he beats Miller. Pulevs awkward jab can cause problems so it'd be interesting to see how AJ deals with it. Miller and Pulev would be two very solid wins for Joshua this year if they come off.
Wlad wrecked him and his confidence several years ago, in an underrated fight at heavy. It was a gritty battle. Since that fight Pulev has looked horrible until now, was good to see some fire in him again against a decent opponent. He’ll never be back to where he was when he was truly dangerous leading up to the Wlad fight but if he fights like he did this past weekend he will give any heavy a decent run. He’d beat Wilder.
I'd given up on him, the resurgence against Dinu (granted it was only Dinu, somebody else on whom I've given up) was nice to see.
