Theres a Kuk Sool Won place near where I live. They do classes for 4-6 year olds and I was thinking of putting my little boy in some classes. I would really like for him to learn Aikido but in liverpool there arent many places near me so is Kuk Sool Won a good alternative? I basically want my boy to be able to handle himself in any situation when hes older.

If you lived next to me, I would have you bring him to my MMA gym.(we have Jeet Kune Do for kids as well) Aikido is a good style to know but you have to make sure you go to the right person that's teaching the right way and not watering it down.

Big Daddy Goodridge was given a 4th degree in it to represent them at UFC 8. He didn't know **** all about the discipline. Dude was just a very strong arm wrestler who could street fight. I can't think of many pro's other than Goodridge who were from that background.
