Is it solely due to him being the first amatuer standout from China?? Cuz I see more flash than substance.. He throws nothing but arm punches that wouldnt do much damage without head gear..

What do u think of him?

I've not seen him in action myself, but amateur boxing is an entirely different sport to professional Boxing. There's been hoards of standout amateurs through the years that couldn't make the transition. It's best to just sit tight on this one and see how he does without the headgear.

He's going to be a bust as a pro.

Too old, no power. He might win a paper title, but he's going to disappoint.

Possibly. He's a bit old to make waves as a professional but he represents far more than wins and losses. We might just see a boxing revolution in the biggest country on the planet.

Who knows, chinese people have money.

They could easily manouver him to a paper title after 12 fights over carefully picked opponents.
