Totally gone under the radar this.

Not sure if DAZN will pick it up. Thought they would as Smith is a Matchroom fighter

It says May 7 SAT on that image, but Saturday is the 8th, so is the fight actually on the Friday which is the 7th?

I know nothing about his opponent but Paddy Power has them both at 5/6 to win.

Are we expecting Liam to lose this?

I'm surprised Smith took this, the money must be good, he will be really up against it in Russia.

And we can have zero complaints if/when Smith gets stiffed over there by the referee or the judges. Not after the way we treat foreign fighters when they come over here.

Kurbanov, the most unrussian Russian I've seen, boxes out of a Philly Shell, very low punch output. Appears very beatable. LS just needs to set a high tempo, jab to the body, should deal with him easily (baring a robbery).

Boxrec has it for Friday, could be a good lead into Canello/BJS the following night.

Also John Docherty is on the card against Artysh Lopsan (?), could be quite a tough fight after his Cullen lose

Lopsan is the guy who beat V.singh.
Think Docherty is off it tho; picked up an injury.

He needs to fight domestically. Not sure who's available to fight in the UK at the moment, though.

Perhaps Boxnation picks this up in a last minute deal

Let's hope Smith has prepared properly. Log cabin in Siberia, tree chopping, sled pulling, the usual.

Is Smith still on Hearns books?

Shocking he hasn't been used more
