Kyotaro Fujimoto defeats Chauncy Welliver.

The deck was stacked against Chauncy. He only coulda won by KO. Now what you need to understand is that the Japanese have a long history of being sneaky and tricky. Fuji had 5 aces if you know what I'm sayin

 

Kyotaro actually had a short but respectable kickboxing career, not saying he'll go anywhere in boxing, but I think comparing him to SBW is a bit unfair. Botha is going to annihilate SBW btw.

I scored it 99-91 Fujimoto, Chauncy looked good in the first when he actually bothered to use his jab, but after that he reverted to his usual tactic of throwing half-arsed feather-fisted body shots for the entire round, 95% of which don't connect.

Also you go on about dodgy judges but the cards for Welliver v Sherman Williams gave Chauncy way too much credit, I had Chauncy taking 2 of the 12 rounds (just), as did Steve Kim on commentary, yet one judge scored it a draw and the other two only gave it to Sherman by a round.

 

If it was in the US, Kyotaro would have been robbed, as per American tradition
