Boxrec says that Kyron Dryden is set to fight TBA 18th July at Newcastle panthers , This kid is a talent , and a threat in Australia , he still coming up and is young but definately shows the goods with his first 2 fights being a 1st round KO , and he looks calmed and patient at all times but a lot of power ,can also box on the back-foot as good he can come forward with great combinations , I'm yet to meet him so I don't know how his personality is but he also had a twin brother , Dryden was robbed badly april 11 and 99% of people could and should agree and yes I was there watching , and anyone who watches the replay can agree, he gassed late but there was noway he was in a position to lose the bout and in just his 3rd fight the kid takes on 8 rounds after first 2 only going 1 round and completes them ,I also think he won comfortably for the first 5-6 rounds looked classes above , and even put his opponent down in the 4th and his opponent was lucky to see it out Dryden almost had him out various times throughout the bout, then somehow a decision goes against him, one judge even had him up by 5 rounds and a knockdown aswell but as I've said before the judging on that night was very imcompetant , Drydens fights was just worse then many I've seen... I'm going to Newcastle on July 18th to see how the kid bounces back I don't know anything about any opponents yet but I hope he can keep his head right and I honestly think that the kid will make a lot of noise in next few years , if he can can only improve from what I've seen so far Time will tell tho
Mate unless ur on Kyrons payroll, let the bloke go under the radar for a couple of fights, all ur doing is putting more pressure on the kid. Boxing is the type of sport where he could be leading and suffer injury ie broken hand and have to retire hurt, result another tko loss. End of the day he lost last fight no amount of blaming will change the result. to be honest he should have taken care of Galea without judges if he's wat he's supposed to be, but give him time without the pressure. Same thing happened to Leroy Brown too much hype.
As I said before the judges were incompetent that night and also I'm yet to meet the man , I've been around this sport for almost 30 years , and I don't mean to put pressure on the kid weather he sees this or not but , goodluck in his fight on the 18 , Will be watching
He. Is a great talent and a good bloke from all accounts, he will bounce back. He has given himself the goal to be world ranked in 12 months so expect him to be busy
Mate I don't see the reason of this thread His 2 and 1 the fight isn't going to be overturned and it doesn't show up controversial on there record The kid needs to move on and be happy it was at the start of his career 99% haven't said he was robbed from where I am but it's his 3rd fight Take his time fight by fight his only young and has time on his side
Funny thread. Huge raps on a kid who has no big amateur record & has beaten no one as a pro. If he can pull a crowed he needs to be matched like Bennett then he won't have to fight any body with a heart beat. So she be apples
Are you Kyrons brother Father or what I'd say your should give up predicting his future and let the kid fight. If he is half as good as your boasting he will make his own noise without his mum posting on here.
