LSC: "Yeah I want a rematch, this time we'll do it in LA!" Err, no you won't, you'll do it in Belfast.
If they rematch ...what will LSC do different? He already gave it more or less his best shot. Carl is just better, that's all.
He was the champ, he gave Frampton a shot so he deserves the chance to win his belt back, this was an ultra competitive fight that could have gone either way He deserves it if hes willing
Butt hurt about what, exactly? Show me where I claimed they didn't want a rematch? Idiot. Quit jumping at shadows.
i think leo has a very good chance at regaining his title. he tried to box the first part of the fight and lost most rds because thats not his bread and butter. once he started to apply more pressure and just let his hands go, which is his game, he got himself right back in the fight. this fight was so close that a different fight plan from either fighter could result in a very different outcome.
I would rather see Frampton fight Selby, they can rematch further down the line if LSC gets another notable win under his belt.
Takes you 90min to read a single paragraph with full comprehension, dopey? Why am I not surprised? There was honestly nothing in the OP to be interpreted by any rational person as being any kind of attack or criticism of Frampton or Team Jackal on my part (note that NOBODY else but you even took it that way. Not one person..) If any sort of gentle ribbing was even implied regarding the situation it was even-handedly distributed in both directions- in Haymon's for sleazily backdooring a mandatory immediate rematch clause into the wording of the contract in an unclear manner (if that indeed bears out and the Ring source is correct), and in Frampton's and his team's for not having noticed it. Hardly anything to merit you white-knighting for Carl - incidentally, for whom I scored the first contest rather comfortably and was quite happy for, and for whom I'll be ****ing ROOTING in the rematch if we get it. Nowhere does observing the fact (or even having a chuckle at the silliness of the situation, most of the absurdity stemming from the childish tactics of Haymon if he did this instead of just negotiating a rematch clause openly) imply that Frampton is averse to a rematch. Were any of us in his shoes, however, you have to figure we quite rightfully would be annoyed to find that we'd signed a contract that puts limits on your options in the immediate future having not initially realized that you weren't free as the new champ to do as you please. Stop automatically reading agendas or subtext into things where there are none. ESPECIALLY with me, thank you very much, because if you look through my ten year history of posting here or ask pretty much anybody that has been here for any length of time within that decade you'd know that I keep above the fray when it comes to all those stupid little hidden-meaning games, even if 90% of the juvenile idiots on this and other boxing forums do. Meanwhile you are some nobody questioning my intentions for absolutely no discernible reason? GTFO, troll.
Lol damn IB chill. He misinterpreted what you said, and tried to play it off, it's not worth getting that worked up over.
