    So much for the swansong..

Farhood just said Malignaggi plans to either go after the vacant Euro title at welter, or drop seven pounds to challenge - not his old foe The Problem, but Ricky Burns for his belt. :think

Was it really in doubt?

I'm not sure if there were odds for this one, but Malignaggi can't have been any shorter than a 1/12 fave.

Ricky Burns would take Malignaggi apart nowadays, but I'd love to see the fight. Two of boxing's good guys in the ring together.

    Rnd 6

Moore keeps spitting his mouth guard again but this time the ref doesn't halt the fight. Moore clocks Cumming who turned his head in disgust of Moore and now we have a war both guys slugging it out. It's a brawl! The pace is hectic!

I don't believe in them. :bart

Scoring happens in a vacuum. (idealistically speaking, in any event - and no reason for it not to be in practice)

Same reason I'll score a close fight-deciding round against somebody I 'like' more even if nobody would bat an eyelash at giving him the round.

    Scoring ought always be honest.
