Bloody hell , some people on here are as delusional as LSC, when it comes to the reason he lost. LSC reckons he lost because Frampton's fans were noisy.

You can say that, but people actually thought Maidana and pac beat floyd.lol. this was a close fight.

You can't factor in punches thrown/landed without factoring in punches blocked and evaded. If you throw 90 punches and your opponent blocks or evades 70 and returns with 20 clean, effective shots of his own which you don't defend - he gets more points. Throwing punches doesn't count for anything. Never has.

Well how do you explain the rounds LSC landed more but people on here gave to Frampton?

I thought Carl won the first half of the fight and Leo the 2nd half of the fight. But, Carl probably banked enough early rounds to win it. I don't agree with the scorecards though. I thought Carl won by a point but no more than that.

Because it has never just been a matter (in the pros anyway) of just tallying net connects either. Quality factors in and is weighted heavily. That doesn't mean necessarily just landing the harder punches, but cleaner, sharper, more accurate, better timed, more damaging (which can be a product of speed and placement as much as rudimentary power) etc.

To say nothing of ring generalship and, just as LordSourness pointed out (but often neglected even though it officially IS a part of the scoring criteria), defense.

True, that as well. Frampton was defensively the better fighter in this fight.

IDK, I mean this fight was really close..I don't see how people want to score this fight so heavily for frampton.
