So if Frampton won 5 of them is it possible to give the other 7 rounds to LSC since there were really alot of close rounds that could have gone either way, throughout the fight? Maybe?

    I gave LSC rounds 4, 6 and 11.

1, 7 and 10 were close, so yeah although my card looks wide I could see a draw, but you'd have to be looking for it imo

Sometimes a single flush jab, or straight right hand can sway a round in your favor in a tight round, imo.

I have to re-watch this fight. I thought Frampton won a close but clear fight(though I scored it off the top of my head), but so many people are calling a robbery, and it's not just the Mexican posters.

It was close, it's worth a rematch. I don't see a robbery though.

The punch stats are ****. It is obvious they just click away even when Fighters are catching alot of the punches on their gloves. If punch stats were calculated by ****ysts going over slow motion video of the rounds and released after the fight it would be more legit. Not some morons clicking away.

Yes, you implied that they were separate, but as far as I know...defense is not officially recognized as a winning scoring category. So I simply put it as a sub-category of ring generalship.

You said that it is often "neglected", but I think its really a matter of how one views the purpose of defense in a fight. From what I understand defense is seen as a way for a boxer to achieve scoring criteria. While you appear to think of it as a criteria itself.

    It absolutely is a criterion.

    - clean effective punching.
    - effective aggression.
    - ring generalship.
    - defense.

Hmm, well I guess it is. Just looked it up. Seems kinda vague on how one would apply it to a fight, so i'd like to know how judges are suppose to look for this criteria.
