Léster Normandy Martínez Tut vs. Isaiah Steen RBR

Well...the jury's still out, my mind isn't completely made up yet, but I'm coming around to the idea that Martínez might be the best and most legit of the three nails in Mayorga's coffin (who dealt him back to back to back stoppage losses in his ill-advised comeback a few years after the last time he looked remotely good, the Mosley rematch: namely Andrey Sirotkin, Rodolfo Gómez Jr., and Martínez himself)

He does have flaws, and I'd be leery about making any bold predictions regarding world titles because of those - but he is entertaining to watch and quite a formidable offensive fighter, and one of his biggest glaring flaws (his gas tank) does seem to be improving.

 

^ Well, definitely better than Gómez Jr., considering he beat him wide h2h last year.

I'd probably favor him pretty comfortably at this point over Sirotkin as well tbh. (whom I can now admit I used to like mostly because of his resemblance to Kevin McKidd of Rome, although it became very clear in a hurry that he was the lesser of my two Russian super middleweight projects that popped on my radar at the same time by toppling shot old favorites of mine - Sirotkin with Mayorga, then Vladimir Shishkin with Khomitsky a few months later)
