he should definetly retire....he's figured out now, he'll never get back his old glory and he's on his way to being punchy
JML is too predictable, all you really have to do is watch out for his right hook, he has no other weapons other than that.
I told my housemate that the announcers missed how much that last right hand damaged Lopez. He basically fell into his corner, and he looked terrible during the break. I wish they'd have stopped it, too. Whether he retires is something he'll need to ponder, but I don't know how any human being could watch that post-fight interview and not be disturbed. He's a young man and needs to prioritize his health. All respect to JuanMa.
good thing Salido didnt retire after his 2nd, 3rd, 4th KO LOSS...he has 11 Losses total But JML needs to retire after 2. Junior Doctors and Senior ***s flood these boards daily :rofl
Spanish is my native tongue. I have been around Puerto Ricans, Cubans, Venezuelans, Colombians, and of course, Mexicans, I know how we all speak: Juan Manuel López slurs his speech BADLY. You can ask any other native Spanish speaker in here.
interview any man after after a marathon or boxing slugfest and they will be slurring because of exhaustion , interview them 2 weeks after and there will be no signs.....
maybe just 2 or 3 more fights vs Gonzales, Jhon, and a Ponce De Leon Rematch, or maybe vs Garcia or Russel?
Definitely slurring now. I think he should retire given his style, but his next fight will determine how much the guy has left. I hope he invested his money right. Juanma was involved in numerous great fights for us to witness, it's a shame he has to hang them up so early.
Lopez has taken a lot of damage but he should not retire yet. As long as he stays away from heavy hitters he should be OK.
The shelf life of the smaller men in boxing is a lot less What has Juanma got left ??? , a move to 130 ??? why , there's no real reason (unless he's financially in trouble) , he has took a lot of damage I have to agree with the majority of the thread
